- Contribute to an identified sub-group that meet roughly 2/3 times a year
- Attend 1 Development Day with staff and trustees per year

We are looking for befrienders!
KASP are looking for Volunteer Befrienders to join our volunteering team.
KASP now has a befriending service and we are looking for people of all ages to provide a befriending service to vulnerable adults in Fife
Befrienders will be fully trained and matched to both males and females who access KASP services who have requested a befriender. Most people who are looking for a befriender will have already accessed KASP services and will have received counselling and support from trained and experienced workers.
Befrienders will meet regularly with their matched person and offer support, social activities or just share a cuppa and talk.
Befrienders are given full support and training throughout their time at KASP. We also take into consideration befriender’s skills, experience and knowledge which can offer a positive befriending experience. Befriending can offer a supportive, trusting relationship and can contribute to a person’s wellbeing.
For the befriender it can give a focus in supporting someone else, develop skills and knowledge and may help you get back into paid work through your own skill development.
If you would like to offer your time by using your skills and knowledge to support people affected by childhood sexual trauma, social isolation and loneliness, please contact Paul@kasp.org.uk or call 01592 644217 to have an initial chat and receive further information and an application form.
A PVG is necessary for this volunteering post.
Working here at KASP is an incredible experience. We are a close and great team and together we do contribute to a great cause, would you like to join us?
