Meet Jodi
Hi, I’m Jodi, I’m grateful to have the opportunity to volunteer at KASP for my placement studying my Diploma in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy. I also work as a Health and Wellbeing Manager at Fedcap who support unemployed individuals return to sustainable employment.
I work with a Pluralistic approach which means the therapy is collaborative. I believe that each client is unique, and therefore have different needs in therapy. I allow my client’s the space to choose what they want to bring to our sessions. I hope, within that, to build an authentic relationship with my clients based on trust, empathy and compassion.
Before starting my counselling diploma, I achieved a Bachelor’s of Science (with honors) in Psychology from the University of Stirling. In my spare time, I like to go running and spend quality time with my friends and family.
