Meet Mandy
Mandy is a new addition to KASP, joining the team in June 2022. Mandy is an accredited counsellor, having work with adults, children, young people and is a clinical supervisor.
Her role in KASP is to manage the counselling volunteers. This includes providing placements for counsellors in training, facilitating group supervision and identifying any further training needs. Within Mandy’s role she also offers counselling to survivors of childhood sexual abuse. She shared her training experience as nurturing, qualifying in 2012. The importance in modelling her experience is to offer a fertile environment where volunteers are nurtured both personally and professionally to grow and development in their own self-awareness.
Mandy embodies her work and the significance of sensing and feeling a connection with her clients. Empowering clients to reconnect with themselves and their wider environment. ‘‘I’m all inspiring in the courage and bravery my client’s show and truly honoured to be part of their journey’’. In her spare time Mandy likes to spend time with family and friends. Likes going out to eat and some rough camping out in the wilderness, being at one with nature.
