Meet Anne
I did my counselling training at Edinburgh University and in my second year of training I was very lucky to get a placement at KASP. As a trainee, working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse was, initially, hugely daunting. Equally, it was hugely rewarding and inspiring, and I very quickly realised that this was an area of work that I wanted to continue with. And so, after completion of my training, I remained working as a counsellor at KASP on a voluntary basis, and have done so since 2010. And the work that I continue to do remains just as rewarding and inspiring as it did when I started my placement at KASP. As do the people that I work with.
