Meet Steve
I’m a volunteer counsellor here at KASP. I completed my HNC and HND in Counselling at Fife College. I feel very lucky to have had my placement here at KASP with all the additional training that I have received and I’m now looking forward to continuing my counselling journey here. As a pluralistic counsellor, I believe that different people benefit from different things at different times. My way of working is flexible and collaborative: I integrate techniques from several therapeutic approaches and adapt them to suit your unique needs, preferences, and pace. Throughout our work, I will regularly check in to ensure we’re on the right track and adjust our focus based on what feels most supportive for you. My aim is to create a transparent, responsive space where your goals guide the direction of therapy. When not working, my time is spent with my family of two daughters and grandson, my new dog and training in Jujitsu.
