The Power of Volunteering: KASP at Fife College Freshers Week
We recently visited Fife College’s Glenrothes Campus for Freshers Week to raise awareness about KASP and the work we do across Fife.
Befriending Coordinator, Jordan, was joined by our volunteer, Sara, to run a stall for the day. Together, they spoke with students and staff about our support services, volunteering opportunities, and were available to answer questions or help anyone interested in making a referral. Having volunteers join us for these events gives people the opportunity to hear directly from an active member of the team, providing real perspective on what our day-to-day service delivery looks like.
Outreach days like this are an important step in keeping KASP visible within the local community, ensuring that information about our support options and referral pathways is ready and accessible whenever students or staff might need it.
