Meet Kirsty
I work primarily within a CBT framework, supporting clients to understand how thoughts, emotions and behaviours interact. I use collaborative formulation, goal setting and evidence-based interventions to support change. Sessions are structured but flexible, and I encourage clients to practise strategies between sessions where appropriate.
My MSc in Psychology and Mental Health and Wellbeing informs my understanding of psychological theory, research and broader wellbeing factors. This enables me to work holistically while remaining grounded in CBT principles.
I value empathy, collaboration and transparency in the therapeutic relationship and aim to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for clients to explore difficulties at their own pace.
