Meet Mary
It is an honour to have joined as a trainee counsellor at KASP. I am a pluralistic counsellor in training, drawing from different counselling approaches to find the best fit for each client at their particular moment, centering the work around the relationship and following the client’s pace and preferences. Previously, I studied psychology and did a Master’s in Neuropsychology, integrating this view into the whole process. I am studying to be a Mindfulness teacher, so drawing on compassion as a source of healing is something that I like to include too. Finally, I am interested in the impact of society on individuals; we are all included in something bigger, and sometimes these influences play a decisive role in a particular issue. In my spare time, I love reading, painting, walking and spending time with my children and husband.
