Go Jordan!

On May 25th 2025 I’ll be running the Edinburgh Marathon to raise money for Kingdom Abuse Survivors Project. (KASP).

This marathon holds special significance for me – it takes place on my 30th birthday. Turning 30 feels like a significant milestone in my life, and I wanted to mark the occasion with a contribution to others by taking on something that’s both physically challenging and meaningful.

As part of my role with KASP, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the transformative impact that our services have on the lives of those we support. The work we do at KASP is more than just providing resources – it is offering empathetic support and guidance to people who need it most. I’ve recognised how vital it is for survivors to have a safe space where they can begin their healing journey, and how crucial it is to break the silence around abuse and mental health.

Since learning about the work KASP does, I’ve been deeply inspired by the resilience of the people we support. With the Edinburgh Marathon, I’m aiming not just to raise much-needed funds for KASP but also to bring greater awareness to the challenges faced by abuse survivors. It’s essential that organisations like KASP continue their vital work.

If you are in a position where you can offer any donation to our charity, this would be greatly appreciated. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps KASP continue their essential work. The link below will direct you to our JustGiving page.
