International Men’s Day

Thursday 19th November 2024 #internationalmensday

International Men’s Day in the UK is on 19 November every year (Tuesday in 2024). It is marked  across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales – and the whole world!

We want to celebrate this day showcasing one of our very own inspirational males.

Celebrating Positive Male’s

KASP are delighted to share with you one of our inspirational male staff members, Ryan, our voluntary placement counsellor. Ryan dedicates his spare time as a Health & Wellbeing Coach at MAN v FAT. He impressed us all with his dedication to support men who want to make positive changes to their lives. Here’s what Ryan told us;

MAN v FAT, is a football based weight loss program which operates from the Michael Woods Sports Centre, Glenrothes, every Tuesday evening.
The club had been operating for around 2.5 years. Players are weighed before they play with weight loss, diet tracking and engagement with weekly challenges all contributing to the weekly score, which also includes the pitch score.
The club is hugely positive with a supportive welcoming environment which has contributed to a weight loss of over 1,250 kilo. There is a real sense of community in the club with success being shared by all.
MAN v FAT Fife have been nominated for UK awards and recently won the Scottish national championship.

If you’re a man that wants to lose weight, MAN v FAT is behind you all the way with diet tips and weight loss motivation for men. Our philosophy is simple: all the information, support and tools you need to improve your health, with a refreshing no-nonsense approach.
