Meet Lorraine
Lorraine qualified as a social worker in 1984, specialising in children and families work and child protection. During this period she was also involved in the development of services for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and was instrumental (alongside a survivor’s self-help group and key professionals) in submitting KASP s original funding application in 1994. Lorraine is a passionate and dedicated worker with KASP providing specialised, accessible services and is committed to offering compassion, empathy, kindness and care in all aspects of her work. Lorraine has a wealth of experience and knowledge in supporting people from all walks of life who have been affected by childhood sexual abuse and domestic abuse and the impact and devastation of the complex trauma that can be experienced. Lorraine’s core belief is in people’s resilience, strength, and courage to survive, and their ability to make changes on their life’s journey.
